The Human Performance Collective has brought together an eclectic group of healthcare providers to provide you the same services and experienced care available to college and professional athletes.

The HPC staff is qualified and eager to meet your recovery needs and develop a specialized exercise program that will enable you to achieve your fitness goals in a fun, social environment.

David Cotner Athletic Trainer and Bike Fitter in Ann ArborDavid Cotner, MEd LAT ATC

David Completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland and graduate studies at George Washington University. He has served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Lake Superior State University, University of Maine, Presque Isle, and USA Hockey.

His clinical experience includes work at MedSport, Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists, and ATI at an Athletic Trainer, where he lead the assessment and rehabilitation of elite endurance athletes.

An avid cyclist, David is certified in the F.I.S.T method of bike fitting, integrating his sports medicine knowledge to provide a unique fitting experience.

Earl has over 25 years of experience in the field of sports medicine, working as both a certified athletic trainer and massage therapist. In addition, he is also an NSCA-certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist.

A graduate of the University of Michigan, with a degree in Movement Science from the Division of Kinesiology, Earl worked his way through school as a student athletic trainer.

Earl has been featured in Massage Magazine, and has written the sports massage expert blog for Massage Magazine’s web site.  He specializes in working with athletes of all ages and skill levels –  from recreational runners to All-American collegiate, professional and Olympic athletes.


 Eyvonne Crow, LMT FMT

Eyvonne is a licensed massage therapist who specializes in sports massage and therapeutic massage for medical conditions. She has also been part of the massage therapy group in the University of Michigan Hospitals, where she provided in-patient massage services to clients with a wide range of medical conditions.

Eyvonne has taught massage therapy classes in: anatomy, sports massage, myofascial release, and neuromuscular therapy. She uses her broad range of knowledge to get your body moving quickly and effectively, so you can keep doing the activities you enjoy. Clients include marathoners, powerlifters, collegiate and Olympic swimmers, and Paralympic athletes.
